Spin: Murray helped erase a nine-point deficit on the road to lift the Cardinals back to .500 on the season. The dual-threat quarterback had his worst rushing totals of 2024, but he offset that for fantasy managers by eclipsing 300 passing yards for the first time through eight games. Murray has been a strong fantasy option when healthy over the course of his career, and he looks as healthy as ever heading into next Sunday's home tilt against the Bears.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Murray returned as the Cardinals' starter after being sidelined for 11 months due to a right knee injury that he suffered in December 2022. Murray's rehab proved successful, as the dual-threat talent immediately flashed his trademark wheels, averaging more than 30 rushing yards per game between Weeks 10 and 18 last season. He was less consistent as a passer, recording his lowest completion percentage since his 2019 rookie campaign. A considerable amount of his inefficiency, however, could be attributed to a dearth of surrounding talent, as well as Marquise Brown's end-of-season absence (heel). Murray heads into his sixth pro campaign with a full offseason under his belt and plenty of time to build rapport with the team's young pass-catching talent, including fourth overall pick Marvin Harrison Jr. Consider Murray a low-end QB1 for fantasy purposes.
